WINTER FARMERS’ MARKET

The Hunterdon Land Trust Winter Farmers’ Market keeps family farms in business and puts healthy, delicious food on your table — no matter what the season!

You can find delicious local food — even in winter! — at Hunterdon Land Trust’s Winter Farmers’ Market.

Beginning in January, the market will run the first and third Sundays each month during the winter and early spring from 11 AM to 1 PM. Upcoming dates are:

  • March 17

  • April 7 and 21

The market is held at the Dvoor Farm, 111 Mine St., Flemington.

The following farmers and vendors are scheduled to appear:

Apple Ridge Farm: Artisan breads and hearty pastries.

Bobolink Dairy & Bakehouse: A variety of artisan breads and award-winning cheeses.

Burek by Zeni: Chef Zeni will bring a tasty Mediterranean specialty to market this Sunday!  You’ll also find a delicious assortment of bureks — phyllo dough stuffed with meats, cheese and vegetables — at the Burek by Zeni stand.

Cabbage Throw Farm at Comeback Farm: An amazing selection of organic vegetables and fruits. Pre-registration for the 2024 CSA is now open. Reserve your membership at the Farmers’ Market or by email. Shares are available in all three sizes and more information can be found on their website.

Fieldstone Coffee Roasters: Fieldstone is brewing up your favorite organic teas and coffees. Stop by for the perfect cup of pick-me-up on a Sunday morning. You’ll find coffee beans, nitro brews and more at the Fieldstone stand.

Kleinhans Farm: Grass-fed beef and lamb.

Pickle Culture: Pickle Culture will have variety of pickles, olives available at our market this Sunday. Don’t forget to get your pickle on a stick!

Purely Farm: Specialty sausages, which blend the simple quality and flavor of the farm’s meats with the creative passion of a couple farm foodies. You’ll also find a variety of pork and turkey products — all pasture-raised, non-GMO, and hormone and antibiotic free — along with eggs and other fine products.

Raritan Township Composting: The Raritan Township Environmental Commission volunteers will return to collect food and distribute buckets for scraps, leftovers and spoiled food such as fruit, vegetables, meat (small bones are OK) and dairy. Commission members will also have information on reducing, reusing and recycling food waste.

Sprinkle Squad: Artisanal classic cookies, stuffed cookies, cookie pies, and DIY cookie kits.

Untamed Ferments: Natural fermented beverages including kombucha, kvass and switchel.

Wildspawn Mushrooms: Wildspawn Mushrooms features a tasty array of mushrooms at the stand whether its shiitake, lions mane chestnut, white beech or king oyster, all depending upon what’s foraged.

Most farmers accept credit cards.
