Larry LaFevre
Born, raised and still dwelling near the banks of the sacred Delaware River, Larry LaFevre has been an integral part of the land preservation and agricultural community in Hunterdon County. Larry’s deep ties to Hunterdon led him to become a founding
member and Chair of the Holland Twp. Municipal Agricultural Advisory Committee and township liaison to the Hunterdon County Agriculture Development Board in addition to being instrumental in surveying and preserving historic barns.
A lifelong student, Larry continues to educate himself on volunteer and board best practices through course work at LaSalle University, yearly Land Trust Alliance and PASA conferences. Here at the Hunterdon Land Trust we are fortunate to have had
Larry’s expertise, wit and dedication for many years serving on the Board of Trustees, Chair of the Land Acquisition and
Stewardship Committee and Dvoor Farm Committee.
In addition to a keen interest in land preservation, Larry is an avid art collector and has a passion for the role that sound plays in healing the body and soul. Larry is father to Tonya, grandfather to Liam and Father-in-Law to Loic who live in South Orange. We are thrilled to be honoring Larry for his service and commitment to HLT’s mission and ideals during our 25th anniversary year.
