Ariel Hylton created this podcast tour of the Dvoor Farm House for her Girl Scout Gold Project. She is the granddaughter of Melvin Dvoor and great-granddaughter of Jacob Dvoor, who purchased the farm property in 1920.

Take a self-guided tour of the Dvoor Farm property and house with Dvoor descendant Ariel Hylton. Ariel created this podcast to earn her Girl Scout Gold award. This tour will take you back to the early 1700s, encouraging you to explore the property and every room in the historic home.

We invite you to tour the home, but ask that you contact the Hunterdon Land Trust in advance at 908-237-4582 to schedule a time. The property can be toured Monday through Thursday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Please note you will need to bring a mobile device — a smart phone or tablet. We have one set of headphones available for you to borrow; please bring additional sets if you need them. If you are interested in touring the basement — parts 17 through 19 on the podcast — please consult with the staff first.

Ariel is the great-granddaughter of Jacob Dvoor, who purchased the farm property in 1920, and the granddaughter of Melvin Dvoor.

Also, Hunterdon Land Trust offers guided tours of the house and barns several times a year. Tour dates and times will be listed on this website.
